“John and Yoko, waiting for the maid to make the bed so they can continue protesting against the system.”

The Dakota, Upper West Side, NYC. A beautiful building. I used to pass it en route to class. Crazy to think that this was built in the isolated countryside, surrounded by streams and forests; a place for the wealthy to get away and live a more peaceful life. Now it is in the center of the metropolis. Sometimes I hate progress. Famous residents and their servants include Judy Garland, Boris Karloff, Rudolph Nureyev, and many more.
